Nah it's just used to update the game if you already have the previous version installed instead of downloading the whole game again.
For example if you had 0.11 installed to update to 0.12 you can just download the patch that adds the new stuff and put it in your game files instead of downloading the entire game again.
Not all games do this though which is annoying especially for the bigger games.
I really gotta shout out the dialogue between the different characters. The girls are all characterized really well and there's so many sweet/funny little lines in there. Super excited to follow this one, thank you for making it

I'm going to put aside all my other potential comments on this game (it's good) to say that, in the event you do end up doing another halloween thing (ik it's unlikely), you MUST put Atsuko in a Young Joseph cosplay. Talk about emphasizing abs!
forgive me in advance when I've not been paying attention. When starting, you're given the choice to play linear or sandbox, and if memory serves me right you could change that on ... (Friday morning or Saturday morning?) Been crawling all over the settings menu but cannot find this function? (started in linear, but now on Saturday day 7 like to go to sandbox, have earlier saves if that's neccesary) Thanks in advance for any tips..
It's any weekend morning. Select 'Use Computer' which has settings to change user name and sandbox mode. Depending on where you are at in the story, events may skip over the morning for weekend days.
Apology for a somewhat late reply. Been playing the game further, now past de prologue and in chapter one where Chio has fed me drunk. But in all the ingame weekends (weekdays were regularly skipped automatically also), the events were leading and I got no acces to a computer what so ever. I guess when you have chosen to play 'linear', for now it seems to be a final choice?
don't know how to feel about this one boys the MC spends almost what felt like 5 hours in the hospital at the start before release and keeps monologuing about pointless issues no one has the time for and same with first school visit I get the writer wants to show how scary the experience is but the endless text is killing me it feels like we're not getting anywhere when in other VNs all that can be reduced to mere 5 minutes so we can enjoy the story and girls but hopefully it gets better after that?
not really I prefer long connection with the girls since I'm used to 40 hours in japanese VNs before you get to the adult scenes but this one goes over pointless matters and spends 15 minutes on a scene instead of getting to the point
I'm new to this game, and I'll start by saying that I'm very much enjoying the characters and how clean the writing is, very few typos or sentences I feel should be rewritten/restructured. Really, my only complaint is that the story isn't really drawing me in as of yet, and I've seen all but a couple of the characters so far. I'm sure it'll pick up eventually, just more so pointing this out for any future stories you may write. That all being said, thanks for what you've done thus far, I'll go back to reading now.

The folder that's downloaded when you choose "PC" is labeled win-linux, like with other Renpy games, so I assume the relevant stuff is contained in there.
I gotta say the story is pretty good just finished the update now but can anyone recommend me vn from itch with a good story while waiting for the next update

I've got somewhat of an issue with my game file or a problem with the code I think. After Chiyo's 5th Event it takes me to the main menu and I cant continue. Is there a fix for this problem or should i start from the beginning?

Edit: Seems that I just had to revert to a save where I didnt initiate the Event yet. After i Initiated the Event again everything went fine and it didnt bring me to the Main Menu anymore.

Did some field testing and can say it was over 100 for me...
Yeah ... That number only counted the events up to the end of chapter 3 and didnt count the time to farm affection
It'll definitely keep you busy for months
Man lessons in love is so addicting but so fucking depresssing. 10/10 would pull an all-nighter to be sad again
